Help students find reading materials before visiting individual stations at Comilla Victoria Government College.

From thesis to portfolio

The original bachelor project was completed at UTHM. This later, AI-assisted rebuild adds a responsive interface, a shared Android/web codebase, search and station filters, a favourites shelf, material requests, missing-material reports, and administration.

Engineering improvements

Separate UI, state, and backend layers; a sample-data demo; private user profiles; server-enforced administrator access; behaviour tests; and database-security tests. The source repository includes setup instructions, a changelog, and a development roadmap.

The image is a rendered preview of the rebuild, using fictional catalogue data. Firebase integration requires a separate configured project. No current college deployment or new acceptance-study results are claimed.

My role · Sole developer

I worked directly with ICT staff and technicians, from requirements to deployment. After early testing, I revised the inspection form to handle faults beyond fixed checkboxes.

The application brings together barcode-scanned asset tags, a nine-point condition checklist, photographic evidence, and searchable maintenance history. Clean Architecture separates business logic from Firestore, with Hive for local caching.
